We’re here to protect and serve as many Reading police officers and their families as possible. That’s why we pledge to keep our membership fees affordable while providing our benefits and social events free of charge.

Membership Benefits Include:

Free tickets to our annual picnic for members and immediate family

Free tickets to our Reading PBA annual ball with guests included

$500 yearly educational scholarship for each child or stepchild

$600 yearly Medical Insurance Supplement for qualified retired members over age 65

$6,000 death benefit paid immediately to the beneficiary

Lifetime membership upon turning 65

Sworn and appointed Reading police officers need only complete and submit this brief application form to become approved for membership.

Once approved, you’ll gain access to our online Members portal to submit a one-time application fee of $25 and your first annual dues payment of $12.
