Reading Police Beneficial Association – Community
Community Impact
Our members not only protect our community, they contribute to it as well.
Many participate in the Reading Police Youth Academy to increase awareness in public safety and crime prevention, as well as educate students on the cost and consequences of breaking the law. Others train new police recruits at the Reading Police Academy, or volunteer at the PA State Police-run Camp Cadet program, which helps children ages 12-15 gain life-building skills such as discipline, self-esteem, teamwork, and violence prevention.
As an organization, Reading PBA looks forward to building new community partnerships and events to improve the lives of our members, their families, and the neighborhoods we serve.
