Welcome to the Reading PBA
Serving the Reading Police Force for almost 100 years
In 1924, the Reading Police Pension Fund Association was formed to manage and disburse pensions to all retired police officers. In 1977, when the City of Reading took over fund management, the Reading Police Beneficial Association was created to provide other much-needed services and benefits.
Today, our members can receive annual educational scholarships, a yearly medial insurance supplement for retired officers over age 65, a free $6,000 life insurance program, and free attendance at two Association social events.
Less than 5% of funds come from members and merchandise sales—the rest comes from the generous donations of our business and individual contributors. You can help us continue to serve by becoming a member or making a donation today.
